Dr. Sharlette Saldana graduated as the class valedictorian from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 2013. She then completed her optometry residency at the San Francisco VA Medical Center in 2014 followed by her fellowship at the American Academy of Optometry that same year. She had been working for a general ophthalmologist for 3.5 years where she became comfortable managing many ocular diseases with a focus on cataracts, glaucoma, and retina. She did her undergraduate education at UC San Diego. She enjoys pilates, running, watching movies, finding good places to eat, and travelling.
